We’re looking for an eager and knowledgeable Senior Laravel Developer to join our Web Development Team in Ahmedabad, India. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks, you also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving attitude.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and other relevant technologies
  • Design and develop application architecture, database schema, and data models
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs
  • Utilize SQL and MySQL skills for database design and optimization
  • Implement thorough testing, debugging, and quality assurance processes
  • Use version control systems like Git to manage code and collaborate effectively with the team
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of web applications
  • Implement best practices for security to safeguard user data and prevent unauthorized access
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to meet project goals within time and budget constraints.

Technical Skills Required

  • Expertise in PHP, including OOP (Object-Oriented Programming)
  • Proficiency with the Laravel framework, including building factories, facades, and libraries using abstract classes, interfaces, and traits
  • Strong SQL and MySQL database management skills
  • Core knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and the Bootstrap framework
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks like NodeJS ReactJS, VueJS, or AngularJS (added advantage)
  • Hands-on experience in RESTful API design and development, including oAuth2.0 for authentication and authorization
  • Experience in micro-services development (added advantage)
  • Working knowledge of version control systems like Git and an understanding of Gitflow workflow
  • Familiarity with repository management tools like BitBucket and the overall CI/CD process
  • Understanding of web application security best practices
  • Familiarity with caching and performance optimization techniques
  • Working knowledge of cloud servers (AWS, DigitalOcean, Linode) and server administration (Apache/Nginx, PHP-FPM) (nice to have but not mandatory)
